Dear Readers,

Hi everyone, I’m sorry it has taken me so long to write this. I have been trying to figure out how to say this to you all because, well, it’s difficult for me to tell you. I feel like I am letting you down. You all have been so amazing and supportive, I hope I helped some of you as much as you have helped me.

Anyway, you all know how difficult the end of November and all of December was for us. We are still having trouble getting rid of lingering coughs and snotty noses. Well, with all that it made me look at how much time I am spending online with my blog, FB page and getting online just because. I really feel I need a break from my blog. So, I’m not sure if or when I will return to Hunt’s Happy Homeschool. I pray you all keep pushing forward in your Homeschool life and do not allow anything to stop you. Thank you so much for all of your support, prayers and love. As my amazing grandad used to say, keep on keeping on.

God is with you and you got this. Thank you again for everything. Mandy

Back Again!

Well, it’s a good thing I cancelled the giveaway. We ended up back in the hospital again. This time the youngest, WYH. Thankfully, he was not admitted. He just has a cold that triggered asthma issues. So, now we have two confirmed asthmatics in the family. Oh well, just glad it’s nothing worse. I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and a amazing New Year! Thank you all for being so understanding, it means a lot to me. I’ll talk to you later! Mandy

I’m Sorry!

I am so sorry, but I am going to have to put off the Thinking Tree giveaway that was scheduled for tomorrow.

We had a bit of a rough night with another kiddo not feeling well and I am just not going to be prepared to get the giveaway together. I am truly sorry and will make it up to you all in the new year. I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New year!! I will talk to you again in 2018!! Unless of course I see something and have to share it before then. Lol. Thank you for all of your support this year, I appreciate everyone of you! Talk to later, Mandy

Motivation Monday

Hi guys! I hope you had a great weekend. Do you believe in a week it will be Christmas?! It is such a wonderful time of year. I love all the decorations, lights, and Christmas music. One thing I have learned from past Christmas’s (is that the correct punctuation?) is not not to let myself get caught up in things and stress out. Not to allow buying gifts, making the perfect cookies or rushing around to steal the joy out of the season.

We try to reflect on the true meaning of Christmas, our family and making memories. I think Christmas has become so commercialized that people forget to slow down and use the time to just be. Just he with your family. Just be at home. Just take time to relax and reflect. I hope you take some time to just be. To enjoy the season and have some fun. To let loose a little. Don’t worry about the house, sit down and play with your kiddos.

I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas! I will finish up posting things this week and have the Thinking Tree giveaway on Wednesday at noon Eastern. After I announce the winner I will be taking two weeks off. I may post things here or there, but not much! I’ll talk to you all later! Mandy
