What’s Up Wednesday

Wednesday is here! Hump day! Halfway to the weekend! Lol

I hope you all have had a good week so far. If you watched my video on Monday…you saw how mine started. A little crazy! Lol We did finally get things together and did some Grammar Galaxy missions, read some books and of course the boys did some work in their Thinking Tree journals.

I have also been trying to catch up on laundry….why is it if you get the slightest bit behind on laundry it seems to multiply times ten and seems like you are never going to conquer that mountain! I only have a family of five…how does my sister in law do it with a family of 11?! She is surely Superwoman. Lol The boys and I did get the rest of the house cleaned up…..but that didn’t last long. WYH and LH have been saving empty boxes and building forts and towers with them….yea, my living room looks like a cardboard bomb exploded in it. Lol I love watching them play and use their imagination, so if my living room becomes a cardboard jungle gym its all worth it. They will only by my little guys for a while and I want to let them play and enjoy this time in their life….don’t get me wrong…they will be cleaning all of this mess up eventually. Lol

WH has been working on writing about modern miners and what it is like to be one. He has pretty much decided he doesn’t want to be one. Lol

This past weekend was really fun. My mom and dad took LH to gymnastics for us on Saturday, so we actually got to stay home all day! Sunday, we went to church in the morning, and then got a light snack before heading to see my young brother in law and sister in law in a special needs play. It was wonderful. You can read more about how it touched me in my last Motivation Monday post. After the play, we met my parents for dinner at a Mexican restaurant. It was just a really nice day spent together.

How have you all been doing? Has your week been smooth or a bit rough? Let me know if there is anything I can be praying about for you!

Don’t forget to check out Grammar Galaxy and get yours missions started before our special coupon code runs out! Use code: HuntsHappy10 to get the discount! You are going to love how easy and fun this Grammar program is.

I am also going to be posting a video with an exciting announcement, so watch for that on our Facebook page.

Have a great day! I’ll talk to you later! Mandy

I have been married to my wonderful husband, Ben, for 20 years. We homeschool our three boys, WH, LH and WYH. They drive me nuts and steal my heart all at the same time. We are Christians and strive to show our faith and God's love through how we live our life. I hope this blog will be encouraging to you in your homeschool journey.
