We tried!

This little fella was on our screen door! Lol

Well, we went for a goal of 50 new followers and we did pretty good, but didn’t quite make it. I truly appreciate all of you sharing my blog and I hope you continue to enjoy our little adventure in homeschooling. I hope I encourage you all and help you realize you are not alone especially during the difficult times! We are here for each other to listen and if wanted, give advice.

Just so you know, I will be having at least one giveaway in November and December…it is looking like I will have some more for the new year, but I don’t want to let you in on anything just yet! You gotta stick with me and keep an eye out! Lol I will also be doing some live reviews on some of the other things we use in our homeschool….I may not have a giveaway, but I know just seeing a curriculum before you choose to buy it is helpful. I’ll let you all go…..I can’t wait til this evening! My mom is bringing me a chocolate peanut butter cake for my birthday! My mouth is already watering! Lol Have a great day everyone! Mandy

I have been married to my wonderful husband, Ben, for 20 years. We homeschool our three boys, WH, LH and WYH. They drive me nuts and steal my heart all at the same time. We are Christians and strive to show our faith and God's love through how we live our life. I hope this blog will be encouraging to you in your homeschool journey.

  1. I look forward to reading more of your homeschool blog:) I call myself my college “freshman” his “Book buddy”, as this semester he continues on-line until next. It is hard work not giving answers, but discussing the material in such a way as to expand the thinking for him to formulate the answer or concept. I admire you for embracing the skill and joy of learning. Blessings, denise

    1. Sometimes it is really hard to discuss things rather than just give them the answer to make it easier on them….but no suppose in thenlong run that doesn’t help them. Thank you for following us and commenting! I am really trying to grow my blog and I love hearing from others.

      1. I was an elementary school secretary for 6 years and left it in my son’s Senior year to be more available for him. (Caregiver for my mom too who lives in her own house on our property) Anyway, elementary Great Expectations Model School for 6 years I learned, phrase the question, not give them the answer. “Miss Denise do you know where my class is?”. Well Johnny (as if kids are named Johnny any more Lol) Well let’s think, what subject did you last do in class? Can you remember what you do after that lesson? OK, that’s right! Your classmates are in Art class!! Good job!! Makes me think too!! Lol
